Grade 9 History

I love coming across bits and pieces of one’s personal history. This gem isn’t from my teenage years, it’s from Ben’s. His parents held on to all of the lego he had as a kid and last month they finally gave it away (to our friends’ kids). Ben was going through the boxes in order to build a train for Owen and Simon and he came across this, a test from his grade 9 history class. You’ll have to click on it to have any hope of reading the questions.

Ha! I certainly wouldn’t pass if I had to sit this today. And shame on me – I could only sort of remember who Emily Stowe was (a suffragist among other things). Unfortunately we didn’t find Ben’s answers to the exam, which I have no doubt would have been even more entertaining.
